The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has set an annual income limit of 1,20,000/- in rural areas and 1,50,000/- in urban areas under Kunwarbai Yojana.What is Kunvarbai's plan?
- Kunvarbai's Mameru Yojana is a scheme run under the Social Welfare Branch of the Government of Gujarat which benefits Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe girls. After those girls get married they can avail this scheme. This scheme is also known as Mangalsutra scheme.
- In Mangalsutra Yojana financial assistance is provided by the government to the applicant. Which was earlier Rs.10,000, now it has been increased to Rs.12,000.
Eligibility Criteria:-
- Annual Income Limit for Rural Areas Rs. 1,20,000/-
- Annual Income Limit for Urban Areas Rs. 1,50,000/-
- Only one girl from a Family can get this benefit.
Assistance Criteria:-
